The State Common Entrance Test Cell (SCETC), Maharashtra, conducts the MHT CET yearly. According to the latest tentative notice, the MHT CET 2024 exam will be conducted from April 16 to May 2, 2023 — except for May 1. Candidates willing to get admission in Pharmacy, Engineering, and Technology courses at private and government colleges of Maharashtra must clear the MHT CET 2024 with good scores.

The MHT CET application process will likely begin in March 2024 and continue till April 2024. However, candidates can also submit the application form with late fees, within the given deadline. MHT CET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates preparing for the MHT CET 2024 exam must fulfil the eligibility criteria defined by the authorities.

Some of the important points of MHT CET 2024 eligibility criteria are as below:

  • Nationality: Candidates applying for the exam should be Indian citizens.
  • Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply for the MHT CET exam; however, they must satisfy the other conditions mentioned in the eligibility criteria.
  • Qualifying Examination: Candidates should have passed 10 + 2 (Class 12) or an equivalent level of examination from a recognised board or university with the PCM group of subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics).
  • Qualifying Marks: Candidates should have scored at least 45% in the qualifying exam. However, reserved category candidates must score 40% in the qualifying exam.

MHT CET Application Fee

MHT CET 2024 Exam Pattern

MHT CET exam 2024 will be divided into Papers 1, 2, and 3. Paper 1 comprises Mathematics. Paper 2 comprises Physics and Chemistry and is common for both streams, i.e., PCM and PCB, while Paper 3 includes Biology.

Each paper, i.e. Paper 1, 2 and 3, must be completed within 90 minutes. In 2024, 20% of the weightage in the total marks will likely be given to the Class 11 syllabus, and 80% of the weightage will be given to the Class 12 syllabus.

  • Two marks will be given for every correct answer in Mathematics.
  • One mark will be given for every correct answer in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

MHT CET 2024 Admit Card

Candidates will receive the MHT CET admit card a few days before the exam on the official website. Check the below steps to download the MHT CET hall ticket 2024:

  • 1st Step: Visit the MHT CET official website.
  • 2nd Step: Click on the link – View/ Print PCM or PCB Admit Card.
  • 3rd Step: The MHT CET login screen will appear. Enter the application number and hall ticket number, and select the subject.
  • 4rd Step: Click on Submit.
  • 5th Step: The MHT CET admit card will appear on the screen. Download and take printouts of the same. Keep it safe for future reference.
